got the same phone...and hate it for the same reasons.

also the cover blocks the side button used to activate the voice-calling feature. it's a real pain.

flammer? i have a bad habit of dropping my phone. my last phone had two many nicks/dinks/scratches. i figured i'd take better care of my $300 phone.
