Vanessa Porrino and I were having a heated discussion about To Kill a Mockingbird, my favorite book. I personally love the movie. I think it is cinamatically? beautiful and sticks exactly to the book as far as I can remember.

I loved the book and the movie, but I can't bear to read or watch them anymore. They're just far too emotionally draining.

With any movie, you have to cut, unless you make it some epic trilogy. But I think they did a good job of sticking to the sprit of the book. They didn't do anything like make Aticus fall in love with that lady across the street or something crazy like that. I like them both. Although I haven't seen or read either in a while.
