i remember where i was too. i was working in Union City, just across the river from where it went down. we were auditing a pharmacy and a guy working there with us got a call from his brother who said a plane hit the towers. the guy didn't even believe it at first. then i guess he realized it wasn't a joke and he got really serious and told us and his co-workers what happened and at first we didn't believe it either. the skyline was a blocked by buildings where were so we didn't bother going outside to look. while we finished our job we listened to the radio and listened to all the stuff going on. but as we were leaving we could see all the smoke and stuff. it took us 5 hours to get home because of traffic. it's a completely gut wrenching, tragic thing. at least we have a hope for the future. i'm happy i'm not just completely adrift like so many people are.
