hmm..i'm not sayin this is the way it SHOULD be...but what i'd do is:

-Telling the other person you like them-i would
-Asking the other person out-i wouldnt
-Holding hands-i highly doubt it
-Kissing-if he held my hand already..possibly, but probably not.
-Saying I Love You-all him
-Proposing-i definatly wouldnt

so basically...the guy has to do everything, but it's just a formality b/c he'd KNOW if i wanted to kiss him or loved him or whatever..it's not like a shot in the dark.

yeah, i like that last part you added...its not like you just sit there and don't let him know anything you feel until he makes all the moves...but its more of an official thing...a formality (nice word)
