In PA, I don't have to pay tolls to drive on the highway. If Pennsylvanians had to pay to drive on our roads, we would all leave.

then what's with the pa turnpike, where i have to sell off a small child to afford the toll when heading west?

The turnpike doesn't count (its assumed that you have to pay). But besides that, we don't have anything like the GSP where you have to pay every mile.

Yeah.. but if you had the Key-Stone State Parkway you'd have to pay every mile probably.
