I don't like them either. They are smooshy yet strangely fuzzy-ish on the outside. They also have the highest fat content of all fruits (I think).
i believe that avacado has a higher fat rating. but it's the good kind of fat, so don't sweat it.

I'm not a big fan of bananas either at all. Every once in a while though the mood strikes me and I'll eat like 4 bananas and then not go near them again for months
