MOST SAD THING EVER: i've actually seen kids at a table, NOT interfacing each other, chatting to OTHER people on their phones, texting and playing various games and such.
actually we're not that bad. people in europe text WAAAAAAAAAAY more than we do. i used to ask "why don't you just call?" and they were like.."whaat? isn't it more expensive to call?" and i said "not really...each call only costs 2 pence (cents) and each text costs 10 pence"..they didn't really get it, though.
how do they not get that logic? Hmm, perhaps this clear cultural fault will be helpful in my plans for world domination
they aren't that smart. i hope laura or sam or emma comes online, because they were there the day i suggested this. also, in england, all incoming calls are free, so it works better! but they aren't too bright.
