for some reason, the verse about using the rod will always make me laugh. and as if corporal punishment mentioned in song isn't enough, you have to sing it in a low serious tone.
in retaliation, i always liked the verse about fathers do not be exasperating your children. haha yeah.
****CENSORED***** - we know what happened last time you started this, starship. let's just leave it.
Oh my goodness.
dan is oppressive!
I coulda sworn I saw a night stick on his bealt when we were out playing manhunt
and a sack of bribe money. crooked pig!
yea he sure is, cant ya take a JOKE?????
yeah, ANYHOW. haha. i was nice to you, i trust that you aren't gonna burn me.
i was nice to starship, too. after i called her old. she knows better than to make comments like "not that any of YOU would understand".
Once again, oh my goodness.
you took what I said TOtALLY as it was not meant to be.
listen, it's not how I take it, that doesn't matter. KEEP IT ABOUT MUSIC. not "i have kids, you don't, blah blah blah". MUSIC.
i wrote that as a disclaimer to mean that i like kids, i was joking.
ROCK AND ROLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!
You want music...
Havin this happenin (this happenin)...
Then attack StarshipTrooper cause she talks this way (talk this way)...
But I'm glad cause they feed her the fuel that she need for the fire
To burn and it's burnin and she has returned
WORD!!!!
i hope this is a good thing....? =D?
I remember one brother bringing out in a talk once that when a shepherd "uses the rod" it is rarely to beat the animal, but rather to guide it in the correct direction, so that verse is really talking about gentle correction and not just corporal punishment.
I really like Ephesians 6:4 as well. Actually, my dad had the bible highlights on the Galatians-Ephesians reading a few weeks ago, and when he asked what verses we appreciated about the reading I almost raised my hand to say Ephesians 6:4, but I managed to restrain myself.
