it's called Phosphorescent Bay near Parguera (that's a fishing villiage in the extremem southwestern part of Puerto rico in the municipality of lajas) it looks the best if there on a moonless or very cloudy night.
it's so crazy!! our friend was born in puerto rico so yesterday i asked him about it and he said they used to jump in the water and then play hide and go seek and tag. the water clining to them continues to glow an eerie green so you just see these green forms running around in the dark ahead of you while you chase them. sounds so stinking cool!!!!!!!! i wanna go!!
I guess that means after an evening swim, they aren't usually organizing an immediate game of manhunt.
that sounds like an unbelievable place...i must inquire more about this particular locale
why are you talking like sherlock holmes???
shut it. i asked one of my friends about this (ok, i'm not going to pretend - you all know who i asked), and it sounds like an AWESOME place to go....but can a camera really capture this??
video camerea probably could. maybe a regular one if you didn't use a flash.
But why does it glow? Is it toxic waste, bits of jelly fish..or just a natural occurence?
i saw that on E's Wild On. it was pretty cool. my mom lived in puerto rico for years and i was born there and i never even heard it before seeing on TV.
