i'm still not clear on this, do i have to go buy the game or can it be shared on the network somehow? how much wrenching will this all take? and how long?
depends on the game. for Halo PC, you need to bring your own copy. for half-life/counter-strike, you can get away without bringing your own cd, but it's better if you own it. makes things easier.
really i'd go pick it up, but i'm leaving for a cruise on monday and i don't want to drop the cash. would it be a problem makin' an extra copy?
halo won't work with a copy, cause you have to have different keys
i understood that. i was referring to half-life. besides the requirements for halo are...demanding even for my kinda newer comp. i don't have fancy gaming cards and all i've got is 256mb of ram. 512 is comfy for halo, i understand.
