I think thats because a Dad who kicked his daughter out isn't overly protective.
not always true.
Ok, I agree with you there. But basically the intimidation with my Dad lies in the fact that he is deeply Sicilian. Not cuz I am daddy's little girl.
wow mine too...i can relate
yea totally... italian fathers r the WORST
I don't know. My cousin's Portugese father went pretty ballistic when a guy first started showing interest in her.
fathers are the least of my worries. i'm set.
when her dad reminds you he has a shotgun in his closet.... it sorta gets you thinkin
My dad used to have really big knives on the wall when I was little. My mom hated them though and we sold them.
see that? the knives are gone! i'm safe.
nope your not you know we live in a new modern world all weapons come in an easy pocket size...
i would take this application and stuff in my mouth slowly. like an insane person. and then possibly be shot or stabbed, but heyyy those are breaks sometimes. i stand by my principles.
OKay you stand by your principle while her dad stands by a pool of blood?
ok ok, no pools of blood. everything should be peachy. parents are just concerned for their kids. sometimes you have to look at them and shrug, go about your business. silently make them understand they can't exert control forever. other times we may have to take them aside and assure them our intentions are good. either way, parents should not stand in the way of adults. especially if everything is being done honorably.
The only reason i believe fathers are like that becuz they were you at your age and they knew what they did and knowing you have the same traits you will do it too...
