good question. It's really undetermined. I say it the spanish way, but Toby says the dorsal way. The meaning has to do with the spanish word "fin".
you should change the spelling to "FEEN" but the pronounciation to "FUN" and change the style from contemporary rock to not so much "playing instruments" and "making music" to "sticking post-it notes to your heads" and "eating cake"

it actually is based on the latin word "fin", which is the basis of the spanish word also french, italian and english. anyway... technically it is pronounced "feen", yes, but i just figured eventually everyone will say "fin" so i may as well start it now...
i chose the name fin b/c i have wanted to get a band together for a LONG time with guys that are really good, and are naturals, that can really carry their own weight musically and then some. and finally there they are... Todd, Jose, and John... all amazing musicians.
so fin is "the end" of that searching, the finale....

I don't think it's cheesy (though, I may be biased). I just don't consider myself an amazing the best of the musicians. I'm the low end, bringing up the rear. The other guys are amazing--Toby, Jose, and John--that's for sure.
