yeah! definitely. I'm right at the end of that game. I just have to beat Sephiroth and the two other hidden bosses and then I can finally finish it!!

haha, it doesn't really matter, that much. the choices you make in the beginning decide your initial abilities, the order you gain new ones, and how much exp it takes to level up. check a faq or something.
