This may sound juvenile, but The Cat in the Hat movie plucks my nerves (the live action one that just came out). Total deviation from Suess.

Yeah, that is something to consider (and at the risk of being nauseating, I think it has 225 words). But while we're on the subject, did anyone see the animated cat in the hat movie in the 80's? - I saw it again recently with some toddlers and it brought back all the memories of being 7. I love that one.
I have absolutely no desire to see this movie. The commercials make me feel embarrassed for Mike Myers.

Yeah, those kids are exceptional actors, even in other roles.
it just makes me soooo mad that there is a live action movie. this is not how it is. and all computerized and stuff?? the magic of thing 1 and thing 2 cannot be replicated by a computer.
