yo. ok. i did some research for the one in hasbrook heights last night.
two tickets - $25 each. Ticketmaster charge - $6 PER TICKET. WHAT THE! PLUS 1 drink minimum. I'm not saying don't go, i'm saying expect to spend $40 per ticket.
At Carolines, there's a 2 drink minimum which is like 4 bucks a drink (depending on what you get). I think it's usually less than 25 bucks to get in, and they usually lower the age limit for Brian's shows.

Ticketmaster usually has the same charge for each ticket for every event.
such a fiasco. let's start our own ticket company. we can charge $3 per ticket, and advertize this fact.
Webtickets.com already does that.
why bother using an agency. Just call Carolines and set up up. You pay at the door, but reserve your seats ahead.

Oh my word, he's hilarious, Karl still does his freakishly great Karl Jensen laugh every time he listens to the CD, like the punch line is a suprise each time. I walked into a cobweb in service last week and I flipped out and thought, that is exactly what he means in his skit!! I must have looked like a dressed up wackadoo fighting the air for dear life. I'll ask Karl if he wants to go. So fun.

Good question. Def not Thursday! By the way, we should be reserving our spots NOW, or we won't be able to go at all. Brian Regan sells out quick!!! Also, I heard it's not just 25 bucks like normal, but that it might be 35 bucks. That might change things for me (and others, too).

I just called Caroline's and they said the Saturday, 12/11/04 show is sold out. The only show available on Friday is at 10:30 p.m. I didn't get to ask about Sunday, but it is definitely $35 plus a 2 drink min.

okay, Ah-mazing. Brian did it again, I laughed so hard my face cramps up when I smile!! PLUS I had the bonus of meeting Brian Regan in person. We were just walking around, going back to the car, when I noticed Brian Regan walking along (about 1 hour after his show!!!) Well, I turned to him (unbeknownst to Jesse H, or Malea K), and start talking to him. I told him he did a great job. Then when they heard Brian's voice, they, too, came to talk to him. Malea screamed. I shooshed her--I didn't want to scare Brian off. Anyway, he cracked us up, and then we said goodbye...and I have a pic on my camera phone to prove it!

I wanted to, but he was kind of in a hurry, and it was cold out, so I didn't want to keep him too long. He said he was flying out first thing the next day, and it was already 11pm. Plus, I didn't want to draw too much attention to him, because he's famous, and then he might have had a bunch of people come over to see what was going on. I weighed the circumstances, and chose not to...this time.
