eZabel Legacy

Megan Eadie joined eZabel in June 2001 and immediately proved that a small comment count can still leave a big impression. She was the kind of person who could take a simple news article and spin it into a performance — claiming credit for inventing the dinner dare game where everyone had to dance whenever someone said a certain word, roasting deanh77 for trying to steal the glory, and coining the immortal phrase "triple S — sexy, single, and spiritual" to describe a bethelite she was trying to set up with her friends. Her crew — punkprincess, ilikebirds, thefunkyfresh, and g.f.s.rocks — loved her for exactly this energy, and she loved them right back. Megan had a gift for the vivid aside: walking into a cobweb in service and "looking like a dressed up wackadoo fighting the air for dear life," describing her ancient digital camera's memory card as doubling as a doorstop, and marveling at a pair of Chinese acrobats who "spent that much time on something that stupid." She married Karl, traveled to Ireland, hosted dinner parties in New Jersey, and used eZabel the way it was meant to be used — as a place to stay connected with people she genuinely cared about. Her last post, in December 2005, was characteristically enthusiastic. She never left quietly when she could leave laughing.

eZabel Personality Type: ENFP — "The Spark Plug." Megan was warmth, wit, and zero filter — the friend who gave credit where credit was due, introduced everyone to everyone, and made even a story about a cobweb sound like the funniest thing that ever happened.
