i know about the privileges, under standable. but they're doing everything illegal against this system.

i mean i understand they do need a better life and there is more work out here, i'm not taking that away from them, but it seems so double standard to me.

rocksupastar #105 rocksupastarFounder

ill get right on that, after i learn how chickens can fly....

Re: Summer Hours

I am amazed at all we have accomplished together this year. The Middle States process, the Business Redesign work, the CAMS transition and TEAC accreditation are some examples of successful programs that wouldn’t have happened without the hard work of many. I have attempted to thank you whenever I have seen individual members of our community.

I also want to do something tangible to make my gratitude concrete. Therefore, we are adopting a Summer Hours Program this year. Full-time Administrative Offices and staff will observe a Monday through Thursday (four day) work week for a ten week period.

Beginning Monday, June 6 through Thursday, August 11, normal office hours will be 8:30 am to 5:30 pm with one hour for lunch. Your individual situation may be adjusted with your supervisor. Those Administrative/Office staff who work 35 hours per week will actually work 32 hours. The College will allocate three paid unworked hours each week. The HR department will shortly send out an email indicating how to charge vacation and sick time during this period.

Although College offices will officially be closed on Fridays during this period, some offices may need to remain operational. In those cases, supervisors will make reasonable efforts to revise work schedules so that employees will be able to participate in the reduced hours of the Summer Hours Program.

This is a pilot program that will be reviewed and perhaps modified in the future. I will be soliciting your suggestions at the conclusion of the summer. Should you have any questions regarding the Program, please ask your Supervisor.

Please accept this sincere gesture from an appreciative President.

The scene was done right though. It was obvious Obi-wan had the advantage on the terrain. If it were flat ground Obi-wan would have been killed.
