This is from a website. I found it funny. :

i dont live up to my culture.

i am half thai and half chinese.

my parents are upset that im not thinner (even though i am fine with my weight: 5'4" 110lbs), yet are concerned about my eating habits because im vegan.

i should know how to read and write thai but can only speak. i know more latin than i do thai.

i only scored 6% on the "HOW ASIAN ARE YOU?" quiz, and my brother 96% and we share the same house.

my parents want me to go to ucla and become a doctor. i would rather go to usc and study film.

my brother was upset when i got a jetta instead of a honda.

i dont know how to play DDR (dance dance revolution) or counterstrike.

i like to be tan.

i like english more than math.

i quit the piano, violin, tennis, and clarinet and i took up photography, film, and visual arts instead.

i would rather live in spain than japan.

my hero is john lennon not the mofatts.

my cousin is going to be in the olympics while im shopping at thrift stores.

i dont even like rice. i love indian food.

my family is glad that at least i believe in karma.

what's the address for this website again?..I posted a conefession about how I'm an ex-cia agent, & I couldn't keep my mouth shut anymore, the govt. IS covering up evidence of alien life....and that I was greatly imotionally distressed over not being able to say anything to anybody about my knowledge for so long.they prolly didn't post it though

I wish I was asian. This thing sounds like my sister's boyfriend.

I really feel that the person you become is apart of the limitations you want to break thru. everyone says you have to like something because its part of your culture. your culture is what you make it to be.

Your parents want you to be thinner?!? You're almost underweight at that weight and height.

Whoops, I misread that. Sorry. (I still can't believe anyone would say that though.)

a lot of asian cultures are very strict. they push their kids so hard to do all this crap and give them nervous breakdowns. but hey, they're really good at piano and math, so i guess it's worth it.

i went to a really disciplined charter high school and i was in the minority. my school was almost entirely asian.

i think it technically is

Actually it's not. 110 lbs. at 5'4" gives you a BMI of 18.9 which is within the normal range of 18.5-24.9.

thatdarngirl #1.2.1.1 thatdarngirlOG 2002

No that can't be right. I'm 5'2" and I was once told that my normal weight should be around 120.

D
dgiaimoOG 2003

That would put you at a BMI of 21.9 which is right near the middle of the normal range. BTW, I don't agree with this normal range stuff at all. I think most people look much better if they are closer to the top of the normal range and maybe even a bit over.

tinser #1.2.1.2 tinserOG 2002

according to: http://www.halls.md/ideal-weight/body.htm, the medical recommendation for a girl that is 5'4 is 111 - 146 lbs, so its really far down there.
