i dont really have a need for it, i don't drive on toll roads enough to warrant it. when i was traveling from work to school i would go thru 2 tolls on the GSP but not anymore. SUCKAS!
If we had EZpass back in the 40's, Sonny Carleone would still be with us-I heard that from a comedian, it made me laugh.
I love EZ pass, at the moment, I don't have one...long explanation why, but i'm getting it again....anyway, I think its a pretty hard thing to live without, sitting in traffic just to pay a toll, is just annoying.
i think ez pass is lame for the following reasons -
1. you have no idea what your balance is - it's impossible to keep track of b/c you never know how much you've spent. what bridges and tunnels have discounts? and when? and do you get discounts once you've done 20 trips over a bridge? have you done 20 trips over the Tapp this month? STUPID.
2. your friends never give you money for tolls if you have ez-pass. they think "oh the tolls are free!", and you start to think the same way, until you get your credit card bill
3. ez-pass can NOT be taken out of your car and put in someone else's. this is MAD GHEY. they get a ticket if you put YOUR ez-pass in THEIR car. wow.
4. the license plate one is cool. too bad someone can just steal it.
your third reason is slightly wrong... this only happens if the ezpass is used in a car of a different class... like if i got an ezpass for my truck, but took it out and used it in your car... you would get a ticket....

but anyway, you still get a ticket for moving a white ez-pass from one car to another. only the BLUE ez-pass can be moved wherever
Not true. You can take the white passes and use them in other cars of the same class. Educate yourself dude. I just signed up, and on every single form you have to fill out, and on everything they send you it says all over the place that you can use them in other cars.
that must be new because my plates changed, and i used it and i got like 200 in fines because they said that car wasnt registered to my ezpass. If they would have checked with the stinkin dmv they would have realized it was the same car but they are just to lazy

5. Ez-pass does not work everywhere. STUPID! In New Hampshire, it just doesn't. Why not!?!?! Pointless.
6. You get a ticket if you go through it too fast. I got a letter (well my parents did) stating that I went through an ez-pass booth at 41 instead of 5.
They upped the speed limit..you can go through faster now..I think.
You can only go fast in Express EZ-Pass lanes. 50 is the limit in those I think, but there's only a few opened, and people are getting really confused and like backing up and stuff.
on #1, why do you need to keep track? they just debit your account again when you're out of credit. ??
on #2, your friends are jerks.
