Ok, so what would your Dream Job be??

juicymango by juicymangoOG 2003 · Feb 23, 2004 · 513 views · ·

We've discussed what we all dooooooooooooooo

but what would you all like to be doing?

And if it's what you're currently doing, yay for you!!!! and for furry animals!!

My DREAM JOB would be one or more of the following

1. writer
2. horse trainer
3. photographer

I could do either of those part time and pioneer. Even better would be doing ALL THREE of them. Train horses one day, write one day, shoot a wedding on the weekend, and go out in service(and/or/party/do whatever I want) other days. That would be mi vida perfectamente

haha

- Stay at home husband working on cool new software ideas in spare time.

That's to funny. It's one of the only jobs you can be completely wrong and still don't get fired or get in trouble it's crazy how bad these guys can be and still have a job.

In defense of meteorologists, it isn't easy to predict weather. Basically, they are giving an educated guess, a ballpark weather report.

However, weather forcasters aren't really respected by most meteorologists who are really studying weather patterns. It's a joke job.

perrin perrinOG 2004 ·

Yeah I know it's a tough job and not an exact science but they sure act like it is though. I mean it's unbelieveable how innaccurate they can be at times.

starshiptrooper starshiptrooperOG 2003 ·

no no not a weather person. i think i meant an astronomist. One who studys stars and galexys and stuff like that. Even tho I do enjoy weather prediction.

I was just talking about this the other day with some friends of mine. My number one dream job would be a video game tester. How great would that be to get paid to play video games.
My other dream job would be to be a stunt double or crash dummy. It's hard to explain why on that one but anyone who knows me will understand why.

ilikebirds ilikebirdsOG 2002 ·

not as great as you think it is. you really dont enjoy playing it as much... imagine the same game 40 hours a week. with bugs and glitches.. texting the limits. game constantly freezing.
bug reporting etc. etc. you dont enjoy the game.

modestjesse modestjesseOG 2004 ·

That's exactly what I want though. I'd like to sit there find the problems, document them all, and present my findings at the end of the week or day so they can write the fixes. Then the next day repeat.

tinser tinserOG 2002 ·

and it would be really hard on your eyes

modestjesse modestjesseOG 2004 ·

What's the difference between my job now? I stare at a computer screen all day. I'm sure a larger TV would be a nice change.

tinser tinserOG 2002 ·

yeah, but for some reason i think playing video games strains your eyes a little bit more...they have to move more or something

D
dgiaimoOG 2003 ·

I don't know. I think my eyes get a lot less strained playing video games than sitting in front of the computer.

modestjesse modestjesseOG 2004 ·

Yeah, my eyes bother me from sitting in front of the PC too long. I've been known to play games for hours though.

I'm glad I'm out of that.

I really like my current position in inside sales. I would raise my commison percentage a little higher, but other than that, it's a really good fit for my life. It would be nice become financially independent, living off the interest derived from assets, rather than living off wages. I also really would like to be able to pioneer full-time. That just may be my dream job.

I'd want to sing. That's it...no other options...I feel like, if I weren't in the truth, that's what I'd be doing.

modestjesse modestjesseOG 2004 ·

We'll be doing plenty of that in the new system I'm sure! :)

specialk specialkOG 2003 ·

Hehehe...that's true....but I would want to be a famous singer....that's kind of hard to do in the truth, so my options are pretty limited.
But we'll all have good voices in the new system, which makes me happy.

reaf reafOG 2002 ·

hmm, I duno about that, i duno if we all will have good voices, we'll have plenty of time to learn to sing, but I duno, thats like saying,, we all will be good snowboarders (if we are still boarding in the new system) ya have to have a nak for it, I duno, thats how i think of it.

modestjesse modestjesseOG 2004 ·

We'll all have perfect voices, so I'd think we'd be able to sing pretty good.

reaf reafOG 2002 ·

are you SURE,, I duno!

juicymango juicymangoOG 2003 ·

hmm I might be wrong but I thought that the "perfect" term applied more towards.. being mentally perfect, able to make the right decisions, etc. etc. and maybe being physically perfect as far as like, having all your limbs and being healthy, but... i mean if you eat tons of donuts i think you'll still have a belly... but of course we'll know better than to eat tons of donuts cos we'll be perfect... but I do believe that being in "great shape" or whatever is still gonna take work

and "perfect" isn't the same for everyone... i don't think anyway

if you fall in the new system will you still bleed? Why not? Accidents might still happen.. no??

anyways... i don't think we'll all automatically be able to do EVERYTHING perfectly... we'll just have infinite time to be able to LEARN things and apply them perfectly.

My thoughtss

modestjesse modestjesseOG 2004 ·

Well yeah, we're not going to wake up one day and be perfect instantly. It's something we'll be working towards. We'll attain to perfection.

The excersize and stuff is interesting, it makes sense that we'd have to in order to stay in shape. But at the same time we will be working, after all, after armegeddon there will be a great clean up work that will need to be done. It will be interesting to see what's in store. I for one really look forward to it. :)

well Jehovah gave us the emotion fear for a reason, so that we wont do things like that

specialk specialkOG 2003 ·

Yeah...good call....well, hopefully, we'll all sing well anyways..I sit in front of some pretty loud older sisters sometimes in the hall, and it's funny when they sing...cute, but funny.

modestjesse modestjesseOG 2004 ·

I've been asking my self this alot. Ideally I think I'd like to own my own business. I've always wanted my own arcade but games today are just way to questionable that I couldn't, with a clean conscience do that.

I'd like to be involved in some why with game development. I can't write code but if I could either be a tester or sit on a development team to discuss new projects that would be cool.

But in all honesty, I really don't know what I'd 'love' to do for a living. Maybe a toy store or gaming store.
