by So - the flood...It was global...Which means EVERYBODY on earth died...Except Noah and his posse...Like, there's a whole buncha examples in the Bible where Jehovah destroys a city and spares the few wicked - but w/the flood, if it was WORLDWIDE, that means babies and children and just people in general died..Babies, don't have heart conditions...So they can't really be judged....Can somebody explain to me how this makes sense?..I've been all through the watchtower library cd rom and can't really find anything..Maybe one of you have thought about this before, and have a valid Bible based answer

yeah that always did astound me and i wondered how the heck he found all the bugs. but i'm sure jehovah was helping him out-i mean him and 7 people built a massive ark w/ no modern day tools. if jeh can help them through that, i'm sure he could've helped them find some stray bugs.

Jehovah can read anyone's heart (King David said Jehovah knew him in his mother's womb; Jehovah knew Esau would not appreciate his birthright, etc.)and he knows what kind of attitude or condition someone is predisposed to even before they are matured. As lydz said, if their parents continued in an unrighteous course, even after they were preached to for FORTY YEARS (? is that # correct?), it was very unlikely that they wouldn't follow.
But sometimes (even after explanation)when I can't seem to see the justice in something, i remember Jehovah is always perfectly just and righteous in EVERYTHING. Even when things don't seem just in our minds it's b/c our sense of justice and wisdom are very imperfect and we cannot see the whole picture.
oh, and yeah, that's another thing - how in the world was it possible for noah to like preach to everybody on earth
you have to remember the the WHOLE physical earth wasn't populated yet, it was still fairly close to the beginning of human history. no one spread out THAT far yet. plus it could be likely many people heard of the ark and came to see it. People talked and they mocked. If they were honesthearted they could have went up to noah and asked what it was all about.
We talked about this a bit tonight at the bookstudy. Jehovah saved only those righteous ones on Earth. The earth was in a horrible condition and if Jehovah had not intervened at the moment everything would have fell apart. No one else had a chance of becoming righteous save for Noah's family and decendents. However, in a world populated by the wicked and demons, how likely were they to stay righteous? Eventually there would have been no more righteous people so something had to be done on a global scale.
Of course babies have heart conditions..everyone does. Though (our CO brought this out) those too young to judge for themselves are based off their parents, or their parents are responsible for their spirituality not them. So, they were killed because their parents had to be. THis doesn't mean they won't be ressurected (feel free to correct me anyone!). This is also why children should be allowed to get baptized when they originally want to..because they're old enough to think for themselves so their spirituality is then judged by their heart condition and not their parents'.

What i've been thinking though, even though i fully agree with your explanation because of what i've learned and been taught, what about now. Will Jehovah destroy the babies (kids) of the unbelievers at the time of Arm. because of their parents OR will he spare them as we see now majority of the kids, teens are doing different than their parents? Like now when we do our preaching about 95% of whom take the lit are teenagers or who listen....well Jah will tell us when he sees fit

hahaha that always made me upset when i was younger. i hate dresses and i was always afraid i would have to spend eternity wearing one.

Let me break it down for you...
Paradise will have all plants and species of animals...
which would consist of weed plants, tobacco flowers, etc.
Now being that it's a female she'd most likely have long hair and with her hair and her shorts she'd be really stressed out.
Now we all know stress is the number 1 cause of gloucoma. Now we all know marijuana helps reduce the symptoms of gloucoma. Thus i was wondering if she was smoking weed.
