Food Journal

tesoro by tesoroOG 2001 · Jul 26, 2005 · 545 views · ·

This is the place for all of us who are hopelessly trying to lose weight...to write what we eat everyday. Most of us go on eZabel in the morning...so it would probably be best to write what you ate the day before.

For Example:

Monday, 7/25/05

Breakfast:
Basic 4 Cereal w/ 1% milk

Snack @ 11am:
Low-Fat Yogurt

Lunch:
Turkey Wrap w/ low-fat mayo
1 pickle
Baked Lays Potato Chips
Diet Coke

Snack @ 3pm:
Trail Mix

Dinner:
Grilled Chicken
Mixed Frozen Veggies
1 Slice Bread
Water

Snack @ 7pm
Low Fat Popcorn

I think we should try to be specific...this way we could get tips on how to improve. Like, "tuna salad w/ mayo" we could suggest a low-fat mayo....stuff like that.

I would suggest putting our weights down...but that might be a little too personal for everyone.

Let's get started!!!
(If anyone has any other suggestions as to what we should include...speak now!)
(I'm very excited about this!)

web-toedchloe web-toedchloeOG 2001 ·

Isn't the pasta great?! Looking at Barilla's website, it's got the same amount of protein as a steak, but is obviously much healthier.

web-toedchloe web-toedchloeOG 2001 ·

What's a bialy?

tesoro tesoroOG 2001 ·

it's basically, a more flavorful roll, the center has cooked onion in it.

web-toedchloe web-toedchloeOG 2001 ·

Like focaccia?

tesoro tesoroOG 2001 ·

no, focaccia is a bit harder, and the onion is usually baked into it. a bialy has the consistency of a roll. and the onions are just laying in the center of it. (the center is almost completely hollowed out)

web-toedchloe web-toedchloeOG 2001 ·

Huh. I've never heard of that.

tesoro tesoroOG 2001 ·
web-toedchloe web-toedchloeOG 2001 ·

I wondered if it was a Polish thing - I've never lived in an area that had a high Polish or Jewish population, so I guess that's why I've never heard of it. That made me feel a little better.

tesoro tesoroOG 2001 ·

haha, i know, i was surprised i was familer with something you've never heard of. (and, yea, there is A LOT of jewish people in LI)

hi jahanna, hi, its me mike, i just wanted to tell you, this journal is the worst idea since 100% grain bread. I hate this journal, i hate that i have to read this, cause it makes me hungry.
