eZabel Legacy

An account that registered way back in February 2001 but didn't actually post until 2005, hipchick was a late-era Musings regular who showed up during eZabel's twilight years and immediately demonstrated an instinct for cutting through the noise. Her most iconic contribution was a deadpan recipe for manufacturing drama on the site: "redsweater insults about what state you are from... check. small people making fun of each other while they still both are small... check. some random story with peoples names substituted as A, B, C... check. posting recipes of things that i am not going to be eating and that you arent making for me... check. am i missing anything?" flomojopoanode responded simply: "LOL. nice." She ran in the 2007 Musings crowd alongside socalgal, juicymango, superhero, and tesoro, who suspected she might be "an imposter" and "not even a chick." She created a poll asking members to vote on their favorite Top Member, started a thread debating the best login names on the site, and had a talent for saying in ten words what other people needed a paragraph to express.

eZabel Personality Type: ISTP — "The Drive-By Critic." With only 21 comments, almost all concentrated in a single month of August 2007, hipchick was the definition of economy — she arrived, sized up the room, delivered her observations with surgical precision, and disappeared without ceremony. She shared threads with 33 different members despite barely posting, which meant she was always reading, always present, just rarely compelled to say anything unless it was going to land.
