I lost 7 pounds in 24 Hours!
BECAUSE... Yesterday was so fun! After the meeting I went to the gym, and worked out my back. Then I played 6 games (a couple hours) of basketball. THEN, I went swimming, and jumping off a diving board. I think I lost waterweight, because this morn, when I weighed myself, I was feeling pretty dehydrated.
How can you lose anymore weight? You're already like 2% bodyfat!
Everyone weighs less in the morning... weigh yourself now or tonight when you get home...

Maybe you could call the reception hall where the wedding was? Sometimes they save vendor's cards, or they might at least know the name of the guy.
I was thinking of that but i didnt have a good run in with the materde, she was nasty.

at the reception site there was only the matrede. The bride didnt have a wedding coordinator.
I called she said she will ask the bride, i can ask the bride to , but its like to early and weird to call the day after there wedding to get the steel drummers name. hah.

So I am new to this Ipod thing is there away to format it so i can start over. I had no idea it just dl'ed from my music file, there was so much i didnt want on there.
with your ipod connected, in itunes in the lower right hand corner there will be a button with an ipod on it.
click the ipod button, it will bring up the ipod options. deselect the auto update / auto synchronization (i don't remember the exact name of it, but i hope you get the point)
at this point you will be able to manage your songs on your ipod with out putting everything on.
ps to get rid of all the songs, on the left side of itunes select your ipod. this will bring up all the music files on your ipod. just select them all and delete.

Does anyone know anything about protecting a tv from magnetic waves? Donovan badgered me into getting a new tv, and even after we moved all our speakers out of the room, there were still currents affecting the color of our tv. We think that since our house is so old, the wires in the wall are probably not shieled correctly.
Is there anything we can do to keep the magnetic feilds from hitting the tv?
Haha... my brother did this to my TV a couple years ago... the colour shift at least for me goes back after a couple of days... so I would just wait a while... for me I just had to keep the 15" speakers at least a foot away from the side.

Yeah. We just decided to not keep it. The only way we could place it without magnetic interference was in the center of our living room, and that's obviously stupid. It was pretty frustrating, though.

Yipee!!! I passed my first set of two exams for school!!! Next up is another set of exams (three of them) AND a graded project.....why is it that school is more exciting now than it was 8 years ago....maybe because I'm actually going for something I LIKE to do, hahahah.
So.. you planning or specializing in corporate or wedding type stuff?
Hopefully a little of both. If I have to get my start in corporate, in order to get experience, that's cool. But I'd like to eventually so the wedding side too, since I enjoy the creativity of that.
It's a shame I don't really have any desire to be a caterer....there's a sister here who hires me to cater parties she plans, and she's got me flying back for a formal she's gonna plan later this year/early next year. Should be fun (and profitable!!)
Nice, I guess the corporate although a little mundane, is better for meetings and weekends... alot of luncheons etc. And never on a long weekend. :-)
Yeah. Plus, corporate is cool for travel, and planning convention-type things for big companies.
The weddings are my fave though...there's a friend we have who is getting married in February.....in St. Lucia. And she's having me help plan it. Which means we get to fly for free, and get a big 'ol discount on the room, in exchange for my help.
These are the perks....gotta love it. :)

I am a little upset though....on my first exam, I got a 100, but on the second one, I got an 85....still a B, but I know I could have done better.
Well do you know what you got wrong... like do you feel that maybe the questions were worded a little wonky? Like if the question was strait forward that you know the material and would have got it right otherwise?
Yeah, it tells you which ones were wrong, and where to find the correct answers. Funny thing, the ones I thought I'd get wrong, I got right. And the ones I got wrong, to me, seemed right when I read it. Oh well...it's still a B, which is better than when I was in school years ago, hahahah. :)

Matt, you should just have sent me a message, I know exactly what tires you should get... we have the same car!! My tires have 26,000 miles on them and they can go for at least another 26,000 miles... let me know if your still interested on what tires to get...
i personally love the BF Goodrich Traction T/A tires. Cheap, reliable, and good performance. Unfortunately none will fit your car.
No Michelin too, weird you would think more manufacturers would make that size.
also good are the Dunlap SP2's. Not as good as the BF Goodrich ones, but they're better than the ones you're looking at.

I hear ya! It is all about balance :-) You want to get some real tread wear / all season / good price.
All of which seem to fit the B-list manufacturers that have that size.
From my research, it looks like your car came with Goodyear RS-A's, is this correct? How did you like those? I have had them on a previous car, I didn't like the squeals I would get under hard cornering, (it upsets the passengers) and they wore out too quick. Plus they are crazy expensive for what you get!
I currently have Bridgestone Potenza RE050A II RFT's on my current car, I can't complain too much quiet, but a little too firm as they are runflats. I just checked the price on those and they aren't horrendously expensive.

I'm so excited! Funky, Alex, my other roomy, and I made a purchase. A TRAMPOLINE! It's 1/2 assembled, but we ran into a hitch. one pipe is partially bent. Not in a way that it affects the stability of the trampoline once it's all together. I just can't get it all together.
now you just have to figure out how to merge PING PONG + TRAMPOLINE

yeah i think i've got it set on what i want to do. bottom of board: pink backing (pale pink) my last name in kinda like old english lettering....i'm still iffy on that....but my last name straight across the board and have a spider web go from one O to the other O (in my last name) and have a like a black widowish type spider dangling from part of the web...and all the lettering and web etc in black. then on top, where the grip tape goes, im gonna have a G cut out. and shiny silver trucks.

This is the treadmill:
It's listed as "3000" on the site, but "9600" is written on it. I don't think I can get anything more specific than that - I already got a crooked look from the gym owner when I told them about the channels changing.
So maybe this one...
