Does anyone on here ever read the star wars books, or has read them? I'm not just talking A New Hope, Empire Strikes Back, and Return of the Jedi. I'm talking about Dark Crystal, New Republic, Courtship of Princess Leia, Truce at Bakara, Jedi Acadamey series, etc. Yeah, I have about 20+ of them, was obssessed for a while.

I really wanted to read the young jedi ones involving Jacyn and Jaina and Anakin but there is no list telling the order of the books so they're kind of hard to read.

that last one i read a few years ago ended up having chewbacca dying. and that was enough for me so i just continue to re-read the ones i enjoy but cannot commit to any new ones because they do not involve the beloved chewie.

OK!!! I know I'm missing a few but there's so many out now I can't figure out which ones!! And I Eric Ferris my Truce at Bakara book a few years ago..he tried to return it to me but it had food and stuff on it so..I wouldn't take it back.

I enjoy the Jedi Academy series a lot..and the ones where Han and Chewie are stuck on Kessle!

Only read one Star Wars book. Shadows of the Empire. The space between Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi--detailed! It showed how Boba Fett got Han got to Jabba--zapping all kind of competing bounty hunters. All kinds of different stuff with Luke and Lea infiltrating a secret organization and then planning to save Han. Lando was there and, of course, so were the DROIDS. Dash Rendar and a character called Jix were introduced along with some a cool swoop bike gang that work for Jabba. A really strange villian called Xixor pops up and on and on. It was really good. I just found the rest of the books hard to get into.

I never read this one, I don't know why..but Xixor is the guy from the Black Sun people right? They show up later again..

I've read about 15 of the books. I think my favorites were the Timothy Zahn trilogy, with Admiral Thrawn.

I was hooked on these for coupla years, but haven't been able to get back into them nowadays.

Timothy Zahn definetly wrote the best ones out of all of them, Thrawn was such a complex bad guy. Supposedly there are a few Thrawn books that I have never been able to find though.

I loved these ones. Thrawn was so cool, and those little ninja death claw creatures (i forgot their name, but they were SICK!), and the ysalimari...whew! that was good reading!

Oh, I forgot to mention Joruus C'Boath!
