by Ok I finally got my hands on a copy of this book (i requested it in the summer from ALL the libraries in bergen county - literally - i did it online) and one finally arrived this week.
I read it in a day.
It freaked me out hardcore, there was some insane religious overtones, but the puzzles were REALLLLLLY good. One of em, I got as soon as I read it. Some I had to think about. But the author has an amazing talent at explaining complex theories easily, and interweaving puzzles with a storyline.
Anyway - as a caution - do not taking seriously ANY of the religious "theories" proposed in here- only read this book as a puzzle/mystery NOVEL. Keyword "fiction".

I read it last week, great book. The theories introduced were really good, I enjoyed it. I typically lose interest but it kept me keenly interested.

1984 is amazing..it should be very easy to find.
yeah it's good but it's a little freaky. i bet reading it in the 50's when it first came out was scary, b/c you thought the future might be like that. now we know, 1984 has passed, it wasn't like that at all. except we got "back to the future" and it was a good movie.
but reading brave new world now is a little freaky, because with all the cloning that takes place, it doesn't seem like it's all that far off. Of course, as witnesses we know better, but from a worldly perspective, its scarey stuff
