is el general considered reggaeton? like robbi rob's boriqua anthem?
if you wanna kno bout raggaeton, just ride in my car for more then 5min. its about all i listen to. UNFORTUNETLY...you gotta be careful because even though the beats are hot, the lyrics r worse then rap by far...not all songs, but alot. either way...u mentioned PR and how its pretty much started there....ur right..by Tego Calderon. he's probably the biggest guy out there. then theres also Don Omar..."Dale Don Dale." Loony Tunes puts out 75% of the good raggaeton out there. But if you ever wanna download the hottest raggaeton song ever, download "donde esta amor". its not bad in any way either, so dont worry. another hot song is "Yo Voy Voy Voy" and "Otra Noche", but thats ur conscience. lol i could go on forever though
wow, you truly are chula papi. hector lavoe!

hahahaha....the original lip licker - coming back at ya
surprised he still has lips to lick...
Me encanta reggaeton! Es muy rico. Puerto Rican youth were inspired by panamanian artists who spit spanish style rap using the jamaican style rap as their template. Then they added their own salsa and native beats and created a polyglot that joined the underground urban hip-hop scene. And the artists are: Tego Calderon (featured on the Lean Back Remix), Don Chezina, Queen Ivy, Daddy Yankee, Barimix. Pero, ten mucho cuidado porque just like american hip-hop, you've gotta watch the content.
good thing i understand spanish then. but haha i don't mind a little naughty *gasps*
i hear don omar is the man.
Not like we can understand it really...But these songs scream to be danced to. Too bad they needed Nina Sky, Fat Joe and Noreaga to bring 'em to the fore but I guess that's just how it be's.
I'll have to check don omar out.
yea well a lot of it is in spanglish haha
I have an elder in my hall that speaks spanglish, there are times when he says something to me and I have no idea whatso ever what he is saying to me.
that sounds like my mom. but she only speaks english. still, the point remains the same.
LOL Whatintheworld?
My thoughts exactly. lol
good song : Oye Mi Canto by Nore and Nina Sky
He totally says "mofongo" on the track. Cracks me up! It's not a bad word peops, don't worry. It's a Puerto Rican dish. I think it's more fun to say mofongo than sopapilla...my humble opinion.
