For those about to rock!!!!!

rumur by rumurOG 2004 · Jun 7, 2004 · 417 views · ·

Hello everyone,
If you are in the South or Central Jersey area and want to join a band, send me a message. Practices are most likely going to be in Monmouth County. The sound we are going for is a progressive punk rock sound. Influences are very broad. Hot Water Music, The Mars Volta, Strung Out. Right now we are looking for a drummer, and/or singer. There are 3 members right now. Both will be playing guitar, but both can play bass and sing. We have both been in a few bands before. So pretty much to start, only one additional member will be needed to get this thing rolling. You will be compensated with great friends, good times, and 43 denarii an hour.

no one should be discouraged from pursuing thier musical expressions whether it be guitars or kazoos or maybe even an accordian. i just didnt want you to miss out on satisfying experience of needlepoint. which 1st gig was the one u gave us ?

fivezero fivezeroOG 2003 ·

i used to go there a lot because i was dating someone kinda in that area at that time. there was an open mic night and we'd go and goof off and stuff. the Ragin' Cheeches, later to be called Guilderbell, played a couple songs there. good times.

If all else fails..you guys can play backup for Too Fat For Spandex.

rumur rumurOG 2004 ·

oh i see! the guilderbell boys are trying to dominate the scene. well, please allow room for us. you will not be disappointed. besides, I believe it was I who gave you guys your first gig.

theremin thereminOG 2002 ·

I think it's pretty funny that people still insist that fivezero is in Guilderbell.

fivezero fivezeroOG 2003 ·

bands are overrated. maybe try a different hobby like needlepoint or crosshatch. after your time and energy you will have made something usefull, like a tissuebox with swans on it.

fivezero fivezeroOG 2003 ·

i agree. we don't need any more bands around here. artistic expression is overrated.

skaorsk8 skaorsk8OG 2002 ·

if only we had someone who played his own variety of crappy emo music!!

jamiephaser jamiephaserOG 2003 ·

Dan thats funny
