For $30 you can get a software package that's decent at converting to mp3's and other types.

Or go get an iPod and covert everything to aac files. :)

tinser tinserOG 2002 ophelia

tinser tinserOG 2002

i want everybody to have points! And i want world peace too.

skaorsk8 skaorsk8OG 2002

i'll see what i can do.

iwz #2 iwz

you can do it with Winamp. Just setup your output plugin to be WaveOut. Then play a WMA and it will save the audio stream to a wav file. Then you can convert to whatever.

But, the question is, why would you want to convert? You'll lose even _more_ quality, and most things can play wma anyway. If you really just want mp3s, convert from the original cd again.

ophelia #2.1 opheliaOG 2003

because I have one long track that I need to split into sections, and the program I have that can do that(sound forge) doesn't support WMA...but, thanks, I guess I'll get winamP!

skaorsk8 #1 skaorsk8OG 2002

i believe CDex will let you do that?? maybe i am remembering wrong.
