Pop-Ups
by I'm sure a lot of people have problems with unwanted pop-up windows. The new google toolbar has been marvelous with solving this problem for me. Not only does it block the unwanted pop-ups BUT it also allows for you to flag certain sites as 'ok' so the pop-ups are allowed on there.

hmmm so on my coworkers computer the toolbar stopped working. any idea why or how to get it working again?
Check to see if there is a button that says "Site popup allowed". If so, click it. Also make sure the popup blocker is checked in the options. If not just reinstall.
YOOO...there's this amazing show on comedy central called "Aqua Teen Hunger Force"(mike, I know your opinion on this show, but, no matter what you say, THIS SHOW ROCKS!!)...anyway, there's this one episode where one of the characters is on the internet, and, he encounters a buncha pop-ups w/false promises of free stuff and advertisements, and he keeps clicking on them thinking he'll actually get something..and so many pop ups load that the computer can't handle it anymore and they start popping up inside the room & all over the house, haha, it was soo funny
THAT SHOW IS SO STUPID! It is completely pointless.. watch sumthing with meaning... such as the Real World... haha

how do you flag certain sites for popups?
wow, i just downloaded it....because i've had major problems with pop-ups. I've never been so happy in my life...i just can't control the tears of joy!
and i like the pretty little array of colors that go across the word "Google", its speeeeeeecial!

you really don't have it? it's almost like the Internet isn't useful if you don't have it. you need it that much.
it's just a toolbar for searching and stuff.. hmm.. i'll put it on at home.. see how it works out.
does more than that. blocks popups, as thatdarngirl said, keeps your search history, let's you click on each keyword to search for it within the current page, highlights the keywords on the page, easily links you to google's cached version of a page, let's you traverse up the directory structure of a site real easy, easy to search google groups, image, etc

i love the google toolbar. i insist everyone in my company use it (not that i'm the IT guy, but still, i install it on other people's comps when they go out to lunch...and then they come back, and yell "why is my computer so fast!" and i just smile. and eat their cookies.
