i ereased everything else so as to write the review, but i'm leaving the trailer up there for everyone. so we went into the city to see it. sitting next to this guy that i don't even know but both of us are just jumping in our seats becasue we're so excited. the theater darkens and then ZOOOOOOOM!!!! it was all over soooo fast. (cuz it was so stinking good!!!!)
all the actors are simply amazing. i thought the accents would be annoying after a while. the tales just so perfectly crafted and they all make sense. the best is the witch's tale that carries through the whole story. all the special effects are stunning. such a great movie. i'm gonna go see it again when it comes out in all the theaters.
one thing wrong. maybe they filled in the gaps more in the book but, in the end part of the moive (i don't think i'm ruining anything) the son is trying to discover what part of the tales are true and parts that are made up. but they never really go into it that much. they only say a little bit but i kinda wanted to know a tad bit more about the real life. but b3eyond that, everything was all good.
afterwards my dad was like, "oh so should i start telling tall tales now?" and i said, "yeah do." so then he told me of the time he shaved his head and some other stories. this movie just jump-starts your imagination and just makes everything so happy because of all the beautiful colors in the story and how happy and fufilled you come outta the theater feeling. i completely reccommend going to see it!! A FANTASTIC MOVIE!!!

i'm really excited to see it too. i'm gonna try to go opening night. i might be crazy, but i think it opens the 25th of this month.
i checked. it goes into wider release on the 25th and then to full release on january 9th, like you said. fun fun.
i really just can't wait that long. i spent my whole day today thinking of more tall tales. what are some other ones besides john henry and like who was the one that had the big blue bull? he was a lumberjack.....
