by So this worked good the last time. And I couldn't sleep for some reason, hence why I am on the computer at 7 am on a sunday LoL! So I decided to start this so every one can again tell their stories about last night.
So I'm sitting in a tree like a million and a half (ok so I wasn't that high...) feet above the ground dicussing life with Bryan and Jared. Bobby is lurking under us, running around pointlessly for some reason. I'm looking out over the polluted Hackensack River and realizing that life is good...
For real, I thought this time was better then last time. That park was much better then expected. Every time I walked around I found another surpise like the jungle gym thing and the lil gazebos-it was very cool. I think the only problem was it was a lil too big....but other then that, I think we found ourselfs an offical manhunt park.. what do you guys think?
We had a HUGE turn out and thats always exciting. I totally did NOT expect that many people to be there, so that was awsum. Of corse that wasn't great when we couldn't find a place to eat that would feed us all at the same time haha but ya kno... it happens.
I think the funniest part of my night went like this:

i wasn't at this event but all this talk makes me think of one of my most inspired hiding spots. last winter i stayed at gigantic house with a few families. there was like 12 or so people between the ages of 14-24 or whatever and we decided to play manhunt in this huge house. we played for hours. anyway, the point--i hid in a zillions awesome places--but the best by far was when i climbed on top of that big fridge! i threw an afghan blanket over my head and kinda pointed my fingers out to make a box shape. i heard people pass me like 367 times and some even seemed to look directly into my eyes. i was sitting there doing the silent shoulder shakin' snicker for like 20 minutes. until someone walked by me and stopped. turned around and looked at me for what felt like a whole minute. finally she ran up and pulled the blanket off. busted. but mannnnn, was that funnnnn!
We used to stay at Shawnee in the Pocconos every winter in those little town houses. There wasn't enough of us to play manhunt but we'd play hide-and-go-seek and I hid ontop of the shelves that were above the washer once..I doubt I could do that now and not break them.

oh my goodness!!!! one of my best friends back when i used to live in nutley pulled this trick. i couldn't find him and they lived in this really small apartment and i could not understand how i could not find him. evuantally he jumped down behind me and ran to base. those were good times. that's the best place but it would clearly be noticeable at my house.

my sister goes to a sign language meeting in Nutley almost every week. she'll be moving over there in Dec.
i was always so jealous. i went to part of one of these meetings once. all the tv screens all over the place so the camerea zooms in on the hands so that they can answer. the brother were always saying how they wanted to turn the football game on after the sunday meetin.
they used to come to our meetings and we had translators.

hahahah, oh, very great.. that was the best jailbreak too... i could hear bryan chasing me as i ran through like 50 trees... haha, he couldnt catch me until i ran headlong into a pond, and got caught... But yea, the game was awesome, until someone pushed me and i knocked out englandkid... (i think thats her name on here) so... yea i felt horrible... and then not eating food and having everyone whinning about going home, until me and bryan took all their deciding privileges away for the night and SAAAAAAAAAAVED the day! WOOHOOOO def have to do it again, and this time NOOOOOOOOO cops... jesse told me he knows a place...

yo, I've come to realize that, when ya have a group that big, and nobody jumps out in the front & takes the cow by the utters, the group ends up like a buncha whiney isrealites wondering through the wilderness, "moses are we there yet??!?!"...so from now on, we should combine your hotness and leader ablities, w/my desire to boss people around, and take control of whatever group we happen to be with

hahahahha my leader abilities... haha, i have none, i just make myself look stupid enough so people HAVE to pay attention to me, it has worked for about 20 years now, so im thinkin ill stick with it. But yea... we should do that or maybe just make a poll and EVERY decision of the night so we dont have to do ANY deciding when we are actually there, lol.

Shooting the breeze w/julia in front of some office building waiting for 5 pizza pies - thinking that every car that slowed down HAD to be the pizza guy
Climbing to the top of mighty oak trees to hide from the enemy
Going to meet up w/Tia & then realizing the mall security had stoped to see where we were going, and so evading him by going to the second floor of the parking complex...We kept on turning around & looking suspicious so he follows us up there, but we walked back down & ran into the woods b4 he saw where we went...I guess them security guys get bored

some of the best was the pre-game activity at mike's house. painting their eyes and lips black so when they put their ski masks on nothing would show.

no, u kno what, there weren't cops... there was ONE cop who asked us nicely to leave and not cuz we were playing manhunt but cuz there was 30 of us hanging out in the parking garage...

the whole time we stood in front of that building waiting for the pizza it completely looked like a drug deal. mike comes over with a big black hoodie and hands us the money (to pay for the pizza) and then walks away after shoving something in his pocket.
no but bryan calls information....and he gives the address and such he wants and they just think for a minute and hang up on him. can they do that at information?? he says its cuz he's black. they could tell over the phone.

yeah, that was really crazy...he must have gotten home at like 3am.
i decided that the best way to find people would be to start looking for evreyone will people were still counting. so pat and i started to walk away from the group. Everyone followed. We explained what we were doing, and started to walk away again. Everyone followed. Finally we said "everyone follow melody!" and walked away.
Then...I was walking near the water. And I saw this kid just hiding. He wasn't even like, by a tree. He was crouched by the water. I thought...no one would be this bad at hiding. So I walked by like 4 times, pretending not to see him, then ran up to him and tagged him. Then he followed me around reallllly loudly, saying "WHERE SHOULD I GO!" .... i guess other people were bad hiders too.
Sooo many stories....I kept walking, and got lost...all of a sudden I was at Home Depot's parking lot...I'm not sure how I got there. So I'm walking deeper into the woods, because I figure, this whole thing is probably a circle...but it wasn't. I actually reached a part where it was all swamp..no trees...so I just yelled really loudly, just for the fun of it.

Hahah that was definately me sitting there. I was walking around and when I saw you or whoever was coming i decided to sit down. Often, I try to see how oblivious others are, as Mike can remember epic manhunt games at his old house where i lay on outdoor furniture just to see how long i could go. At least i didnt bring a chair this time eh mike?
However, what you don't realize is that while you did catch me sitting there by the water, the next round when you were sitting at base me and ben walked up to you and talked to you for about 2 solid minutes and ended up strolling off. I enjoyed that, I don't think I've ever pulled that one off before.
yea, jp is notorious for walking around with chairs and such, and just setting up in the middle of the playing field... its quite funny actually, specially after the game when we throw the chair around and hit ben with it.
