Favorite gaming system
by Everyone seems to prefer one type of gaming system. Some people prefer consoles some prefer computers. Which do you prefer and why?
Personally I own both X-Box and PS2. If I only had one though it would have to be PS2 there is just a great variety of games out for it. The selection is simply great. Following closely behind PS2 is X-box it's a good system but the selection of games out for it still needs to be improved. One major upside to PS2 I must say is KOTOR(best game ever).

both are great. i choose xbox because their online service is better, whenever there are games that span both systems 9 out of ten times its better on xbox.

Notice I did not include Halo :P Hey if yer happy with PS2, great! If yer happy with xbox, wonderful! But if I had to choose one system, which I did because I'm not spending more money on games at the moment, I choose xbox. *prepares to be flamed*
oh and the ps2 service is about as good as a group jersey city cops trying to stop a crazed driver. *snickers*
oh yeah and PCs are great if you have funds to upgrade it every year. i hate playing games at half detail. although Half Life 2 is going to suck the money right out of my account if its half as good as the preview I saw...
The only Xbox games worth playing are all on the PC: KOTOR, Halo, and a few others. So if you have a PS2 and a PC, you're covered. I have a gamecube too, because nintendo rocks and has a lot of exclusives that are really good.
The only good thing about the xbox is the hard drive. And if you throw a mod chip in there, it's GOLD.
what about amped!!! show some love to the most realistic snowboarding series ever. any snowboarding game that uses the same controls as tony hawk and makes me go "wow" at the scenic landscapes must be good.

I to prefer SSX. I don't know I just like the game play and the flow better. SSX3 is great. My sister is totally addicted to that game.
theres a handful of xbox games that are GREAT. not enough tho. there are a LOT of PS2 games that are amazing. PS2 has all the good franchises. xbox has halo and i can't even think of another xbox exclusive game thats amazing. maybe Splinter Cell. PS2 makes the Metal Gear games, thats all i really get into anymore. BEST franchise in console games, if you ask me.
I agree with you for the most part. Though I must add if you are into RPG's (which I assume your not) then you can't beat KOTOR(Knights of the Old Republic) best RPG I've ever played.
I do not like RPGs. all those menus and magic themes. i'd prefer a straightforward adventure/espionage game anyday.

That's one of the things that makes KOTOR so great it's star wars so there isn't any magic in it.

Um..actually yeah. Like, I'm a big Star Wars fan and all and I have absolutely no problem with it at all. But..really, saying it's not magic, I don't know about that.
In looking at the definition of magic I guess to some extent you may be right. I still think it's different but I see what you mean.
Well..I'm not really saying the Force is magic. I know what the force is. It's the life energy all around us, it binds us together (I was looking for the movie script real quick but couldn't find it for the actual definition). But, I would think that some people would clasify that as being in the same group as magic.
