Bible Tapes
by I just have to comment on how awesome the bible tapes are. I just got them, and they are so conveniant. Since I drive at least an hour a day by myself, its the perfect time to listen to the tapes and meditate on the weekly bible reading. If you don't already have them, I really recommend getting them, especially if you are in your car as much as I am. They are great!
I'm thinking of getting a subscription to the Watchtower and Awake tapes too, but I don't know if i'd like them as much, because then you miss out on the pictures.

well, on our trip to bethel we saw the tape copying dept. and the reason they dont have the stuff on cd yet is because they already have this huge department with all the equipment for tapes. once they move everything, i'm sure they'll switch over.
They announced at our meeting that in the very near future the dramas will only be available on Compact Disc. So maybe that's the direction for all audio media.
probably. It'd be a waste to have the media available in both forms, so they are probably just waiting for everyone to get cd players before they convert..thats my theory

first of all, the Bible on Tape is SO AWESOME. The Watchtower and Awake on tape is JUST AS COOL. Believe me, I love them!
I do agree with Matt, these things should be on CD by now...but, we'll see what happens. Usually they'll start changing things in other parts of the world, where the branch is much smaller. This way it's easier to implement, and test out. If it doesn't work, it's ousted. Once they get it down pat, they start doing the bigger branches, then they conclude with our branch.
Who knows, maybe in Austrailia they are already making the Bible, and WT and AK on CD!
A couple weeks ago I went to the lit. counter @ the back of the hall & asked for the Braille WT on CD ROM....It was SOO funny to see the Bro. actually look for it, took him 10 seconds to figure out it was a joke
