On My New Job
by So, this is my second week working at Pacific Sunwear and it is time for me to share my experiences with all of you.
First of all, I have 4 mangers. Tom (by far my favorite and some day Bryan will baptize him for me so I can marry him), Hurley (my second favorite only because his last name is Hurley and hes cute haha), James (hes cool.. but I could live without him), and Eric (who I hate with a passion). So Eric is the head boss guy and hes super strict and very mean. He is NOT my favorite person...
My first day at work, I was closing with Hurley... and we had no costumers for like an hour so I go "um.. what do u want me to do?" and he goes "um.. just stand here and do nothing like me"... and that is when I realized that I was gonna love this job.
Then on Saturday, Tom was closing with me and he put me on fitting room duty... so I just got to just stand there all day, talk to my friends and open the doors for people. That was fun...
So yesterday, James was closing with me. And James kept telling me not to just stand around and do nothing. So I sized (took down all the clothes off the racks and put them back in size order) the entire back of the store while James and the rest of the people working just stood around and did nothing. After about a half hour of this, James was like "MELODY! STOP WORKING! come up here and stand with us and do nothing! You're making us look bad!" so I did. Then when it came time to close-my section was completely clean and sized already so I got to leave early :)
Also, I get a 30% discount which I use just about every day... and the people I work with are fun-like the other day, we put a bunch of censors in Hurleys bag so when he left the store it looked like he was stealing haha that was funny. also, my mangers like to take out the hacky-sacks and start a game in the middle of the store... some times they hit the customers and thats even funnier... and Hurley takes out his skateboard while hes working and skates around the store and does jumps off the counter... and thats funny too...
Ok, I'm done... come visit me at work! I get bored sometimes...

actully, he went off into the perfume and sunglasses racks... it was hilarious... he didn't break anything tho.. i would have DIED laughing if he did.. i wonder if they have hidden cameras.. they had them at Limited Too, they were set up by the company... and the managers didn't know where they were... if Pac Sun has cameras set up in our store... um they would have sum interesting footage...

yea.. i know i'm horrible... not only have i brought sumthing almost every day... but sum days it was more then once.. haha
I love pac sun sooo much. i wish i could work there just for the discount otherwise it's mostly too expensive to have shopping sprees there.
