My New Job
by Wow. I got a great job at a cool company after being unemployed for 3 months.
I prayed and prayed for this job, and the interview went ok, but it could have gone better. I wasn't 100% sure that I'd get it, but I did. The job is 1.9 miles from my house. This is such a big change for me since I was working in the city for more than a year and the commute was killing me (3 hours a day round trip, plus so much money for train, parking, subway..) Commuting so far is a real drag when your company expects you to work past 5:00(more like 6:00) and you have meetings. So I'm real happy about that. And right now my wife is on disability and has some health problems, so being close to home is great too. Pay is good too, they actually offered MORE money than I suggested... I couldn't believe that. Jehovah really answered my prayers.
