All or nothing (not the O-town song)
So they say (and "they" are a group of old women from Hackensack) that when it rains, it pours...especially after a dry spell. Now, I'm the first one to get annoyed when people use catchy phrases to sum up experiencies, but...well I guess they can be true.
I work in construction (and not in the kind of "construction" like my distant, more Italian family works in Long Island, more like actaul jobsites where cement mixers are used for cement). Anyway, in NYC construction has seemed to slow down as of late,m and Ive been looking for work for a little more than two months. And NOTHING has come through. No leads, several interviews, and some false hopes. Anyway, I got an awesome job on Friday night with a brother, an electrician. im normnally, Carpentry, Paint, and Plaster (I know next to nothing about electricity besides white wire goes to white wire), but he is willing to train me, and has trained like 20 ppl before me. So thats PERFECT, and its gonna help to get a lot of my goals in the immediate and distant future accomplished. Point is, today is only monday, and already Ive gotten word about Fleet bank finally getting back to me about wanting to hire, as well as taking a test for the TSA (airprot screener). OK, i definitly got the best-case scenario, (even if the pay is sort of a cut for now) but I just think its odd how nothing is open for more than 60 days, and then all of a sudden, I've got jobs out the wazoo. Stupid old women.

take the job with the brother, a trade comes in handy alot more then working for a bank or being a airport screener, you can go anywhere and get hired with a good trade
definitly...its gonna be worth it, and the guy seems like an aweosme brother. plus i can learn a bunch of stuff.
hackensack? i am from hackensack.. but am i not old...

you can be my personal soundtrack if you want...follow me around and play songs depending on how fast i'm moving...ie, driving...or walking to the copier...or crawling through the mall parking lot so they cops don't find the stuff i stole from ian's house...
hahaha that would be so awesome! do you ever have a soundtrack in your head? like when you walk into a party...the rocky music...or something like that...oh...i dont...
when i go into a party...i get track 4 from the "can't hardly wait" soundtrack in my head...and pretend i'm seth austin
seth green? i loved his character. "i'll roll up on that shorty and she'll be like 'you don't know 20 ways to make me call you big papa'.....because i don't, yo."
my theme song is the theme from full house. have mercy.

yeah, i've been a walk home fan for a while, and i got NOTHING. the only thing that happened was people made fun of me.
from now on, i'm supporting a REAL non-existant band. WOOOOOOHOOOO
dan i heart the fact that youve been a fan..you rock hardcore dude
Tell me a place where I can use zip-drives to print out my shirt pattern and get my a plain white T-shirt and Ill hook you up!
umm...zip drives are weird...i don't trust them...maybe mr. zabel has one.
Well, the thing is I made the design on a mac in school last year and saved it on a zip. I'm wondering if maybe Kinko's would have one?
yeah, they might. it's worth asking. if not kinko's, maybe staples.
ok so something true along these lines...We saw a prog metal witness band at a metal club in Mount Vernon (home of DMX) and then saw them the next night in LI (home of many high maintenance women) and the band after them both nights had 5 losers.
So i'm outside the next night and i say, "Hey, it's the lead singer of gandell." He about fell over. He's like, "we're finally recognized!! we have fans! do you want an autograph?" I held back laughter and said, "uh, no i saw you guys last night.."
Talk about shattering a dream..
is that a band or an "experiment"??
It's a band in the experimental stages!
oh i get it! =)
Wazoo? I think you may have been HANGIN' out with the old ladies from Hackensack... lol - well when it rains it really DOES pour as cliche as it sounds, but this is all SO good - many many choices from column A, B, and C. Chinese people from Jersey City offer that... lol.
it's alll or nothing at all... calll meee
or something.. anyway that song is hott !
Since you mentioned O-town in the title, I sing this song in my head every time I see it. GRRR. And I had completely forgotten about that nasty group. You are mean.
