The Best Day of My Life...

A year or two ago I was having a conversation with friends about the best days of our lives, and I was never able to narrow it down to one day. I’ve had some good times, but I couldn’t really say any were “the best day of my life”. That changed this weekend.
Yesterday, April 18 was Austin and my 6-month anniversary.
It all started on Friday, at Surf and Skate. (*Pause* Brandnew ROCKS!)Tina, Lauren and I went together, hanging out, listening to some cool bands, when all of a sudden, Austin and Adam (Tina’s boyfriend) ran up to us! It was one of the best surprises of my life. Austin had told me that he couldn’t come to the show because he had to finish up some work if he was going to be able to come to my house that next day. Plus the fact was that he is not really into any of the bands that were playing that day. So I was so ecstatic, he'd come just for me. I kept saying to him the whole night, “I can’t believe you’re here!” The next day was REALLY unbelievable. We got back to my house, and were talking to my parents for a while when Austin went and got something out of his bag…2 tickets to see “The Producers” on Broadway. (The show was so hysterically funny) AND dinner reservations at an Italian restaurant. (If anyone wants to go, Puleo’s on 45th btwn 8th and Broadway…sooo good!) After we finished getting ready to go to the city, I wanted him to open up his gifts…all of which he said he loved. (YAY! haha) and he told me that he had one more gift for me…which I was wondering what else could there be because I was so happy already…..He surprised me with a beautiful white gold and diamond ring! (No, not an engagement ring, haha, everyone says that!) It is soooooooo gorgeous. It is funny how people say when you fall in love you’ll just know it, and I never understood how that could be. Now I do. I love you! Thank you for the best day of my life.
