Reow is the Essence of Julia Roberts
Do you ever get that feeling, right when you sit down at your desk Monday morning, that maybe you never really left? The weekend was a blur. Someone asks "hey, how was your weekend?" and you return only a blank look, because, what on earth did you do? You know you're tired, you know you have less money, you're pretty sure that you went somewhere with some people, but only because you could. I call it the "Last 48" feeling - you know the last 48 hours happened, but you have no idea what occured.
So, that feeling has to be prevented. This weekend - a call goes out! I'm starting something new - (the way the whole idea of a "blog" started) - it's a site of weekend adventures. Something where, whatever you do (as long as it's creative)- whether it's a trip to the Stop N Shop or a road trip to Chicago, take some digital pictures (I know you all have cameras), type up a few lines about the fun you had, and email it to me with the pictures. I'll organize it by section - North Jersey vs. Long Island, hahaha, and this way, we'll all be doing our part to eliminate "Last 48". I'm thinking about a site name... www.Next48.com ... as in, how are you going to spend the next 48 hours? Post any ideas you have for web design, layouts, etc. I know everyone here is more than creative enough...
Lastly...I woke up this morning at 6:15 as my cat jumped on my bed...he likes to sleep on my feet, so that's fine...except I heard "ack ack BLECH" as he puked on my comforter. Ugh. Got up, cleaned the mess, and signed online to discover that Something Corporate are playing Wednesday at the Chance. I could leave at 4, drive over the Tapp before the traffic hits, park my car somewhere convienent, and have a story about how I "caught a train to Poughkipsie"...but, I already have plans for Wed. And I hate when other people break plans on me...so, I guess Something Corporate will have to wait till next time.

i don't ever remember my weekend for 2 reasons:
1) too much alcohol
2) I hate mondays so much and am so disturbed that any recollection of any other day does not exist, only the monday that i hate oh so much!
*there is truth to #2
weekends go by WAY way too fast. It's not fair I say. It's not fair that we spend most of our lives working only to retire when we're old and don't really wanna do the things that we wanna do NOW anymore. I hate that. I want 4-day weekends every week. Really bad.
Ahhhh the #1 reason my cats don't come in my bedroom anymore: they puke.
Pretty cool idea bout the Next48 thing. I likey.
