by I am writing this journal in the duration of making a cup of tea.
So I was thinking today about one of the hardest things it is for anyone to say. It is a combination of three little words and takes basically less time to say than any other phrase.
The phrase is, I am sorry.
Now at times it is very hard to admit that you are wrong to begin with, that is human nature. But simply saying I am sorry can put away so many different scenarios in a peacable manner. I think that many of mankind's problems could've been TEMPORARILY solved by saying I am sorry. Of course no long term solutions but never the less perhaps feelings would've been a little less hurt.
In my own life I tend to say I am sorry on a regular basis. More times than not I say it when some one is relating something to me... but I really mean it. I like saying it because it is a phrase that should be said more often in my opinion.
Alright tea pot is whistling, Im done - this is my pondering.

Anyhow, I can relate to this I also say I'm sorry quite often in varying situations.
the worst is when people say "i'm sorry.. but you ..." and go on with an excuse of why they acted a certain way, because of what YOU did or said. It tickles me.
OOOh I know about this, a story was once relayed to me where one person suggested to another to appologize for disrespecting this one individual... rather than actually appologizing the perpitrator went on to say
"I am sorry... I'm sorry you're ugly and I can't help you there." it was awful. Totally rotten :-o
Why won't he say sorry?
People tell me that i say sorry too much. Sometimes i think i do, but other times i think its a good thing. I kinda evens out my other personality quirk or argueing over ridiculous things forever... hopefully.
I've been told the same thing but I dont think that's right because how can you say that too much? I mean..it doesn't loose its meaning for me.
did "HE" do something and not say he was sorry? Do i need to kick him for you?
As with any phrase, if used too much you run the risk of sounding insincere. Some people say it when it should be said and mean it. Others say it all the time out of insecurity, that's just annoying. But it's an important phrase in relationshps, can't be afraid to take it out when we're wrong. But it's not a catch-all either. It doesn't cover a multitude of sins.
