Clothes horder
Does anyone else keep all their old t shirts (girls can formulate this to shoes i guess)? I must have a collection of skate t-shirts from the past decade filling 3 draws. I can't seem to get rid of them. I feel i will always need them at some point. But how could u possibly need 25 ghetto shirts that arent fit for going out, but good for doing dirty work or playing sports? SAVE ME!!!!!!!!!

i used to be a clothes horder, BIG TIME
it's so much better to throw those things out
thanks to stef, and then chris, i got rid of like 90% of my old clothes
i had like 3 closets full
it was awful
it's so much better not to have them!!
i have a few drawers of old skate, band, gift and shirts bought of vacation. can't get rid of 'em. one day, maybe.
I was just talking about this with someone. I have alll my old beat tshirts and I really need to get rid of them and buy new ones. But..I love them
Well I intentionally have a T-shirt collection, I collect ones that have cute expressions or wutever. But otherwise I pile huge bags up and drop them in he various DARE bins through out the area.
O-I .. . Every season i would get rid of pretty much all my cloths and buy all new cloths. that changed. i dont get rid of as much cloths as i used to. Infact I think the last time i got rid of cloths was like 3 yrs ago. but at the same time I dont have alot of cloths now either. i duno, i like all my cloths i have now i guess no reason to get rid of any, haha it mainly being tshirts and jeans. I think brandon has more cloths than me actually. I am a shoe shop though. i have a ton of shoes, all of which i wear... But in general my thing is, if i havent worn or used it in 6 months get rid of it, no matter what it is. . I am telling you , I get rid of everything. Just not cloths like i used to.
I have my Project Graduation shirt from High School still. Next year it'll be 10 years! Wow I'm getting old.
yea, that's totally how i am, but i've moved three times in the past year and a half, so i've done major throwing out each time...now, i have one box full of all my sentimental band t-shirts, and all my grungy punk clothes. some stuff is only concert appropriate, and other stuff is too faded & stuff, i can't bring myself to throw it out though!
lauren made me throw out all my old clothes from high school on Sunday.
I had a SWEET black levi's denim shirt, i would roll up the sleeves like Dylan McKay ... oh man
anyway, i spent like like $200 on clothes at GAP for me, and also i had a lot of clothes that i never even opened or took the tags off, so she made me do it
(i save clothes b/c sometimes i'm like "i want to wear something new RIGHT NOW" - so hence i save new clothes- except if i decide to never wear them, there's a flaw in the system)
I'm sort of a clothes horder. I have a couple band shirts that I bought, but were not my size because they were out of that. So...I have em. But I never wear em.
I have old old skate shirts that I cut the emblem off, and threw away the rest. The scrap is all I need. Good times in those shirts.
I have a bunch of clothes that my mom/sister bought for me, that aren't exactly my style. I like them, but I don't wear them often. like. ever. I just don't have much occasion to do so.
I went shopping like crazy and got myself a few wardrobes while in Cali.
Oh, and I have all these pants that feel so comfortable, but have faded to ugliness/impractical usage. Rarely do I wear them. I should just donate them.
that's a really good idea, to just cut the emblem out. i have a "concert" book i could put all my t-shirt scraps in. all my stickers, and tickets used to be on my bedroom wall, but when i got married, i figured i should confine them to a book. haha
I blame a majority of my shirt problems on element, i see like another 5 shirts i want to buy and i just bought a slew of them. EVIL I SAY!
awww element thanks you for your support....LOL
seriously, tell them to stop coming out with like 15 new shirts per season. I get 2 diff catalogs and both have different selections of shirts that look awesome. They also look 10x better then they did a few years ago/any other shirt company. I feel like a little girl or even worse like mike!
lol.
I met the designer of clothing. I'll let him know how you feel via sock bomb.
HAHAHA have you even seen our shoe line? the guys met the shoe designer too and saw all the up and coming shoes.....
that guys got awesome designs, too. I really liked those brown orange and yellow skate sneaks.
if you buy these i will constantly refer to them as ur diahrea shoes like everybody else did when i had mine.
uhm. I didn't do that to you. I only make fun of your silly pink moonboots.
say it with me now...galoshes. galoshes. for the rain. they're kinda wearing out...i may need a new pair: http://shop.crocs.com/pc-17-4-georgie.aspx?reqid=17&reqProdTypeId=41p&subsectionname=footwear§ion=products
oh so many colors.
more like GAYloshes
HAHA!
no not yet, im only rich enough to endulge in t shirts, i cant afford a sneaker collection
I finally made Donovan go through his closet and get rid of all the ugly clothes he never wears. I've known him for 5 years, and literally never seen him wear some of the clothes that were in his closet. He said he tried to throw some of it away when he lived with his parents, but his mom kept putting stuff back in his closet.
A bonus was that I got all the clothes that are too small for him now. :)
I've got a bunch of band t-shirts that are too small for me, but I'll never throw them away; I can't bear to. If kids ever come along, they'll need to know how cool their parents used to be.
I gave a bunch of my old clothes to a sister in my hall; she was wearing my shirt at the next meeting, which was bizarre.
haha, that's so funny, and true about kids. "mom and dad used to be COOL". hahahha which i DO think is really cool, cuz i'm pretty sure my parents never went to wild rock concerts. lol
yeah band T's you really cant get rid of....those are parts of you and the memory....i still have all of mine
i'm such a clothes whore....I LOVE SHOPPING! i seriously have pieces that have tags on them.
i only keep key pieces...thats one thing i learned. When im clearing my closet i have to ask myself "can i see myself in this next year" and that def helps oh and the fact that my sisters and nieces raid my closet and remind me of what i do or dont wear.
Sometimes I'll buy pieces even if I have nothing to wear them w/ 'cause they're fabulous. They'll hang in the closet w/ the tags 4 a while and then when I'm low on funds BAM! forgot I had this =) such an awesome feeling.
HAHAHAHA thats happened to me too! isnt it the best feeling? or one of my gf's will ask to borrow something they'll say "can i look in your archives and see what i can find" LOL
my brother is a clothes hoArder himself...
i donate my clothes to other peoples houses,
perhaps they will wear it, perhaps they will not. either way, they still have to eat. we all have that responsibility as humans ya know
