Things like this make me mad for two reasons. 1) Children are so cute and innocent and such a beautiful gift, I don't know how anyone can take advantage of that. 2) Things like this happen every day..why does this one case get to make the news? I asked my mom when I was little about when I die to I get to be on the news, I remember her saying yes but it's a lie. Only random cases get put on the news, when the same thing is happening in 10 other places around the country. I think this lady should go to a Correctional Facility for a few years, The U.S. no longer has jails..only Correctional Facilities..that's all I've learned from my Criminology class so far.

yeah for real. The bible says use the rod. I mean, punching the kid is a little extreme, i don't think i could ever PUNCH a child no matter what they did. But seriusly... jail time??
what she did was horrible. but no matter what, it's a lose-lose situation. on one hand, if the kid gets taken away and put in a foster home, she's gonna be messed up for life. on the other hand, the mother proved that she's abusive, so she'll be messed up anyway. as far as jail time, maybe she should get some.
