To much Drama:
Let me redo this part.
WHat is considered Drama?
& THEN why do people spread it like cream cheese on a bagel, THICK....
DRAMA,
I know i dont need drama.
Anyway this just came to my head..hahha. so i thought Id share.

In responce to ekulu's journal. With all respect and in defense, i guess you could say, when you post a journal and have it public, people are gunna comment about it, wheather it be to your liking or not. Not everything you do people are gunna like, AND people always have something to say about something. SO I say eaither you take the critisism, weather it be good or bad,and realize it was put up for PUBLIC to see,or dont post. It has been said many a times at the meetings to not be OVERLY SENSATIVE,(especially if you put yourself out there.) The world is full of critics, true our brothers & sisters should be our hide away or what have you but we are ALL also entitled to our own opinions!... but this is just me talkin ..hahha... Thats how I see things....

Dude, I didn't mean to make fun, definitely not. I was just having trouble following your entry.

ekulu #1.1 ekuluOG 2002

it's totally cool. Yea it is a pretty scatter brained entry.

I completely agree. The world isn't full of penman as "intelligent" as yourself, Ekulu. You can hold your own writing dear to your heart, and in fact, you should, otherwise what's the point? But if you post it publicly, you can't expect everyone's reaction to be as that of your high school teachers, praising you for your crown of intelligence, that's simply not the way the world is. I think I can confidently speak of this entire group of friends when I say that no one posts any comment, musing or journal to be malicious. I would also like to point out that your insinuation of the love of the greater number cooling off and being exhibited by the people on this site is grossly demeaning and insulting. If you expect those who read your written word to react more positively to your thoughts, then don't presume to think that your erudite words will more effectively make your point. This whole site, as I understand it, is meant to be a forum for open thought and discussion, emphasizing not the differences between the characters that surf it, but instead acting as a uncooked clay bowl, which can be molded any which way the users intend it to be.

More personally, speaking as a writer myself, you cannot invite the critique of a certain work and then ravage its critics as you profess that it is too close to your soul to be so roasted. Your writing, and indeed your entire character and bravado will not flourish from this kind of thinking process. Some of my more "insensitive" counterparts may even describe this kind of behavior as "immature".

Finally, I feel that you can sense my indignation from this comment, and I think that after you truly consider all that has been mentioned, you'll be able to commisserate with me. Understand, therefore, that if you're going to put your heart on a platter on any dinner table, someone might stick their fork in it. This is no cause for alarm or for any backlash to those dining at your table. This is simply the way life is.

I wanted to say that, but I'm just not good at using big words.

delliott101 #2.2 delliott101OG 2002

I do appreciate the other side of the coin... I wasn't seeing it from your POV Diana...

When you say "the world isn't fll of "...penman as "intelligent" as yourself, Ekulu.", I seem to detect a hint of sarchasm. I din't write the journal "those were the days" in expectattion that people would react like my teacher's did. If you look at the journal i actually say..."I seek no crown of intelligence, only knowledge and wisdom, and the ability to impart truth and light." I don't expect anr particular reaction from people in regards to my writing, and i wasn't trying to write a peice that would elicit praise. I was simply writing a journal of what was in my heart. Well, i did expect that if some one were to comment on it that they would at least comment on what i actually wrote instead of the unimportant matter of the length of the journal. Sorry if I insulted you in ay way but that is exactly how i was feeling. And if i were to put my heart on this symbolic dinner platter, i definitely would not expect it to be my brothers and sisters to be the one to stick their fork in it. No matter what ur opinion is about what someone writes, unless it totally violates Jehovah's principles and what you know is right, then there should be a measure of respect toward it. And that what i often feel is lacking here. People should at least be considerate of one anothers thoughts. By the way, I'm very sorry to everyone for the use of the word "jerks" in that last journal. That was mean in itself.

i do agree with diana to a point though. most of the time it seems like you're trying to flaunt your writing abilities. everybody's got talents, but it doesn't mean we have to show off all the time. and also, this isn't the place to have conversations like the one that's in the chatroom right now.

reaf #2.3.1.1 reafOG 2002

(As soon as you said "in the chat room") I had to check it out,, ha, curosity would have killed me like it killed the cat.. But Your very right Matt in both parts of your coments!

thefunkyfresh thefunkyfreshFounder

hahahaha, "curiousity wouldve killed me like it killed the cat" .. that was really funny to me for some reason

reaf reafOG 2002

Ha Ha,Im tryna make it the new "Curiosity" saying, Im hoping it will take

ekulu ekuluOG 2002

haha, well what's in the chatroom is a joke between me and alison (flyingfree1125), ask her about it if you want to be sure

ekulu #2.3.1.2 ekuluOG 2002

What do i even say to this? I'm not trying to flaunt or show off anything. If that's the way you feel it's your opinion but it's certainly not the truth.

thefunkyfresh thefunkyfreshFounder

whatever man, i'm not gonna argue with you. but obviously i'm not the only one who thinks that. in other words, if ezabel were a symbolic smorgasbord, the ham's a bit off and is just not agreeing with the collective stomach of ezabel.
