me and my parents went to a diner to eat so i took 4 wheel off for some fun, and we where kind slippin and sliden, and my mom was freakin,, shes like STEPHAANIE,, STOP IT,, ARE YOU CRAZY........ TIM, Tell her to STOP,, it was fun..hahah
the train took an extra half hour to get home, and when I got to my vehicle (what is an suv? car? truck?) it was COVERED in snow, like 9 inches or something. that was great. the lot wasn't plowed at all, so I popped it into 4 wheel drive, backed out and got home in 5 mins.
the other day I was driving on some crappy roads by someone's house. that was fun, fishtailing around curves almost ramming into cars and trees.
and you said you had everything under control...right! "That tree was nowhere near me" Of course not, it was on my side! haha
The other day I was coming home in my little sports car when two cars in front of me a dodge durango flew off the road into a ditch and my little GTI with its tires that dont even work in the winter held the road. the point of my story? 4 wheel drive is a freakin illusion! and GTIs rule

hmm, I think its real when I can't get out of a snowed in parking spot, and I put it in 4WD and I can.
but you've got a point, you shouldn't drive crazy just cause you've got 4WD. The overconfidence will get you in more trouble than if you didn't have it in the first place. Just ask Thai.
Use it wisely, when driving on snow-covered roads for extra traction, not as an excuse to do 50 down an icy, windy road.
