I wanted to see the 12:01 show SOOOOO bad but the thought of getting up for work the next morning wasn't a good one..... but! my fiance sends me a text message this morning. The "from" field said "Sauron" hehe... and the text of the message said that a coworker saw the movie and that it is "I N S A N E" and better than the first, which I believe wholeheartedly because I LOVED the Two Towers book, I thought it was better than the first. The characters were developed so excellently.
I love Aragorn and Arwen. At first I thought it was stupid that she would be in the movie, and now that I read deanh77

I heard the final scene of the book, that huge spider - I forgot the darn name - is cut, and will be included in the third movie. Pete cut that scene to include more Uruk-Hai slaughter at Helms Deep. YAY. haha...... OH MAN SEVEN MORE HOURS AND I WILL BE THERE!!!!!!
BY THE WAY!! The Two Towers video game is amazing, it was a
perfect pump-up this past week. My fiance didn't even want to see this movie on opening night, or even the first weeknd, because of the crowds, but after playing the video game, he reserved our tickets.
I can't wait to see Treebird!!!!!!

I got my tickets last week for tomorrow. Actually, was supposed to go tonight but I have to go to school tomorrow so that wasn't gonna work. I'm so excited, but I'm trying not to be too much so because I know I will be disapointed by a few things (ex: the way the Ents look isn't exactly..well..maybe my imagination is just too good)

Ents! I've seen them and they made them very skinny and vine-like. And what's with Arwen popping up all over the movie? I understand that they wanted to mix the Apendix of Arwen and Aragorn's story and all..but I think they may have taken it too far. How is Aragorn supposed to be in Rivendell when he is clearly in Rohan for almost the whole book?

My little sister is partial to the Two Towers (book) more then the others. I really can never decide which I like the best, they're all so well written. I like fellowship because they go so many places. Two Towers you get to know everyone better and the plot thickens! And of course Return of the King just rocks cause everyone kicks some butt. Can't believe they're not adding Shelob into this movie! That's such an important part! But I guess the suspense would have been too much anyways. And the Arwen thing..I'm not the biggest Arwen fan. I want Aragorn for myself (then I must remind myself that the guy who plays him in the movie could be my father). Galdriel is cool cause she's Galadriel and all..and Eowyn just rocks the third book like no one else

It's been a few weeks or so since I read the books.. I had borrowed them from my cousin. And then I ecstatically picked up a copy of Two Towers on my lunchbreak today - it was on sale for six bucks, how could i pass it up?!?!?!?!?!

I went with my friend who didn't read the book, and he asked me who "SHE" was, I was smiling when he Gollum said that, and I told him he had to read the book, I wasn't telling.

kinda spoiler: I knew it! I just read a review which confirmed my suspicion that John Rhys-Davies (Gimli the dwarf) voiced Treebeard. It was a little distracting though. Good as it was, I was thinking "why does this talking tree sound like that Dwarf?" They should have got someone else.

Spoiler maybe?: Yeah so I just saw the movie. I must say I was slightly disapointed. I try to keep in mind what I heard on TV that while they changed things they left more things alone. True..but it still doesn't change the fact that Peter Jackson isn't my favorite person at the moment. Sure, Gollum's talks with himself couldn't have been better (though these dumb girls kept laughing..it's not supposed to be funny!). However, what was up with Faramir? Darling Faramir who is one of the best characters in any of the novels was reduced to the position of a Boramir copy! Osgiliath was awe-some looking. Ents weren't as hoo hoom as they are supposed to be. Helms deep was cool, what's up with Theoden being all whiney? What's up with me being whiney right now? The movie was a good fantasy movie and all I think I just need to see it again before I truly decide if it meets Tolkien standards
