by Yeah so I went to see Toad the Wet Sprocket last night...what a weird experience. There were waaay too many old people there...like, parents and stuff. One was like, "honey, i think i smell THE POT"...and the husband was like..."i haven't smelled that in 20 years!" in a way that made you think that perhaps he still enjoyed some time alone in the garage without his wife's knowledge.
The band played great, did a good number of acoustics for some awesome songs...they played Walk On the Ocean and started acoustic...sooo good. Although, in between the opening acts and Toad, they played a LOT of weezer. I wasn't sure it was, but then I remembered that "you take your car i'll take my board" song that people are always talking about. well I think we had to suffer through like two weezer albums. messed up. AND i had to deal with the drunk guy next to me telling me how much he loves weezer and telling me i'm his best friend ever. Till I sent him to the peacekeepers to get kicked out. sorry, dude.
oh yeah I go outside after the show and tina's there yelling at me like some kinda wacko. (Kidding...the new dashboard cd is very very good). Oh and ok4now I have that CD i just keep forgetting to give it to Tina. Anyway that's it. Watch out for lame email forwards.

I used to SOOO totally love Toad. Their one song used to freak me out, like I thought the CD was demonized because the song made me panicky! I don't remember the song though!

lol it was so funny, i went to meet up with a couple friends when the show was over and dans just walkin around... i was like daniel hill! and he all looks around not knowing whether the voice that was calling him was an inner voice or not...good times
