Acoustic
by Ok for some reason that I don't completely understand, I love acoustic versions of songs. always. if it's a rare acoustic, it's even better. so when some random LI kid called me up and said "hey, tonic is playing an acoustic set in some place called asbury park on friday, do you wanna go..."...i had to jump at the chance. something about live music that i will never ever hear again, that isn't loud. wow.
but..here's my question. I'm looking for ways to aaaaaaaahem perhaps bring in a recording device. has anyone ever done this? I know some bands encourage it...(i'm thinking dave matthews but I've never liked them, so I really can't recall). A mini-disc player strapped to my leg? Is that the best way to go? Suggestions on a 3x5 postcard care of www.ezabel.com. Yeah.

because it's not normal. the point of HAVING a cell phone is that you no longer have to leave messages, talk to parents, or leave messages with parents. yes.
if parents are in a bad mood im not going to sit there chatting on my cell phone and hear them complain about it. don't you realize if someone else in my family is unhappy they believe it's their responsibility to make everyone else feel the same.

you know paul s from england? he just discovered tonic recently and was so wowed by them.
he is wowed by a lot of things. fizzy drinks, for instance. we once had an hour long conversation about HOW they made soda bubble. thank goodness he doesn't drink alcohol.
