all right. i was listening the new Queens of the Stone Age CD, Songs For The Deaf, and i've realized that no one sounds like this. and it's completely rockin'. i think this band is the only band, anywhere near the mainsteam, that is respresenting do-it-yourself experimental rock. it's not nu-metal, not emo, not punk pap. it's just well done rock. and i have to bring attention to the production quality of this album. it's untouchable! most people know this band because Dave Grohl drummed for the recording and the first few dates of their tour, but they have two albums under their belt already! a self-titled album and one called Rated R. And these are choice albums as well. Maybe you've heard one from Rated R. It actually got some radio play a few years back. it's called The Lost Art of Keeping a Secret. anyway, wow, yeah--i love this new one they put out. i like to put on music before i go to sleep and i don't put that album on anymore because i'll just lay there and sing every single song. who's got a band they dig this much?
