weekend update

Usually Ian is the one to post a summary of the weekend, but tonight I feel adventurous.

• Friday...nothing too exciting happened, but Saturday definitely stimulates some discussion:

  • First, service with Jamie, Jackie, and Angela started my morning off well (even after being "attacked" by that dog). I feel violated.

  • Next was Allison's second bridal shower with an...let's say, "interesting" assortment of Remaley relatives - hehe.

  • Then, followed was an intense game of street hockey. I'm sure Diana is still feeling the effect of that guy's stick across her shins, right Di? Thankfully, I managed to slip away, unscathed.

  • Finally, the most exciting event for Saturday (and the rest of my driving life) was [duh, duh, duh]....being handed the keys of a 2000 GTI V6, with the owner saying, "go for it"!!! Mmmmm, I can still feel it. : )

• Today...well, Andy MacDonald was ranked #1 in the X games trial (oops, sports on ezabel is not allowed, right?) Oh yeah, and there was some little news that Ian had. I think it was something about potato farming on the....oh! no, no, no, now I remember.....Congratulations Ian and Mikayla!
