food of a flavor
by As most of you are aware, rock supastar and I are trying to plan a wedding.
That means finding dresses, tuxedoes, a photographer, a dj, but most importantly,
deciding on food for the reception.
Since my personal preferences may not be those of others, I now ask the eZabel
community which dishes sound the most desirable. I narrowed it down a little since
these are just a few of what will be served. But please, be serious (you just may
be invited). Thanks for your input!

e. Pasta Station: Tricolor bow ties served with garlic, tomato and fresh basil pesto and alfredo with peas and pimento.
f. Portobello Mushroom Station: Portobello mushrooms with sundried tomato sautéed to order in garlic pesto.
g. Carving Station to Include One of the Following:
Smoked Ham Carving, Fresh Whole Boneless Turkey or Corned Beef Brisket

there always seem to be so much waste at weddings. I would have been happy with cheese and crackers, but all this stuff came with the package. Who am I to dispute, right? lol

hahah that's so weird! they spell kilbasa and parmagiana and stuff right, but fajitas wrong... think they have something against mexicans?

Hey congratulations guys(i don't think i ever told you guys that) I've learned that its good to have food that everyone likes, yet puts on a good presentation. For example, the food that I picked is:
Stuffed chicken breast
Mashed potatoes
Roast beef
Eggplant parm
Penne Alfredo
Glazed carrots
Broccoli w/ lemon
good salad, not just ice berg lettuce, w/ raspberry ving.
Fruit tier and crackers w/ wine
I've gotten alot of good reactions. Talking to alot of different brides that have already had weddings always suggested not to have red marinara(sp?) sauce either. It's real easy to spill red sauce over your bright white dress(esp. the clutz i am) Usually you go with 2 meats, pasta, 2 vege's and then some. Allright, i just realized how long this is getting. sorry. I hope i made sense. If you need anything that I could help with let me know. I'm going through the same stuff! :)
